Too Much or Slow Moving Stock – Retailers may have over-brought on stock that isn’t selling fast.  This is effectively money on the shelf that isn’t working for the business.  Stock needs to move quickly to provide the funds to buy more stock and pay the expenses.  Any slow moving stock can become devalued or even obsolete so keep control of your stock.
